My Mojo barbeque rub. This is the perfect fusion of sweet and spicy.

You will find that this rub will make the perfect brisket rub, but works very well with other beef.

  • 1/4 cup (50 ml) coarse salt (kosher or sea salt)
  • 1/2 cup (100 ml) dark brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup (50 ml) paprika
  • 3 tbsp (45 ml) freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) onion powder
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) coriander
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) smoked chipotle pepper
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) cayenne pepper

Texas Beef Big barbeque Rub. you know every thing is bigger in Texas

For that big Texas taste this rub also makes a really good brisket rub, I love this rub on steaks, hamburgers and roast beef.

  • 1/2 cup (100 ml) ground New Mexican chili
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) smoked Chipotle pepper
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) black pepper
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) cumin
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) coriander
  • 1/4 cup(50 ml) coarse salt(kosher or sea salt)
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup (50 ml) mild chili powder
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) oregano
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) garlic powder

Brisket Rub. This is a simple but very effective barbeque rub for your brisket.

  • 1/2 cup (100 ml)smoked paprika
  • 1/3 cup (75 ml) brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp (45 ml) garlic powder
  • 3 tbsp (45 ml) onion powder
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) oregano
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) salt (kosher)

After you have all of your ingredients these will
make about 1 to 2 cups of brisket rub. Combine all ingredients in a
large bowl and stir or whisk to mix. You can then transfer
to a large jar, and store away in a cool dry place for
future use. These rubs will keep for several months.
